Happy Saturday Naturalistas!! Hope you are all doing well. So I'm always looking for ways to stretch my hair. Stretched natural hair reduces those irritating single strand knots, reduces tangles, and gives your curls some hang time. And I like to find ways to do that without damaging my hair with heat. So I found another technique to stretch my curls without picking up a blow dryer.
First I started out by twisting my hair in its usually sections of five to six twists. I sprayed each section with my lavender water. I then used two of my staple products Camille Rose Moisture Milk and sealed with safflower oil.
I then place on my satin bonnet and got ready for bed. The next day I remove the bonnet and carefully unraveled each twist. With any successful twist out, the hair has to be completely dry.
I gather my hair to the very top of my head. I then twist the hair in a big bantu knot and secure it with a scrunchie. It should not be too tight and all the hair should be in the bantu knot.
By the time I got to work 45 minutes later, my hair was stretched. I find that this technique gives me more stretch than pulling my hair into a regular bun. Try it out and let me know what you think!!

Till next post, stay curly!
